About Mind & Motion Studio
I’m Natalie Holm — a Polestar-trained Pilates teacher, holistic wellness coach, and the founder of Mind & Motion. I created this space because I believe movement can be more than just exercise. It can be healing. Transformational. Grounding. Joyful.
I trained with Polestar Pilates, completed Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching course, and began working one-on-one with women who, like me, were seeking something gentler. Something more honest. Something that worked with their body — not against it.
Over time, Mind & Motion was born. A space where we don’t hustle for worthiness, but come home to our bodies, breath by breath.
My Approach:
I teach with intention, warmth, and an eye for detail. Whether it’s your first-ever mat class or you’re coming back to movement after injury or motherhood, you’ll be met with empathy, structure, and encouragement.
My classes are small, slow-paced, and centred on form, flow and nervous system balance. You’ll sweat — but you’ll also soften.
Why I Do This:
I’m endlessly inspired by my clients: the mothers, creatives, caregivers and career-changers who show up for themselves in this space. Watching someone move from tension to trust — both physically and emotionally — is the greatest reward.
We live in a world that’s constantly pulling us away from our centre. My job is to help you return to yours.
What I Offer:
• Mat Pilates for strength, posture, and grounding
• Reformer Pilates to sculpt, align and deepen body awareness
• Private sessions for injury recovery, pre/postnatal care, or deeper support
• 1:1 holistic coaching for optimal nutrition, reducing toxic load, stress resilience and lifestyle alignment
Credentials:
• Polestar Pilates Reformer Certified Instructor
• Holistic Health Coaching – Institute for Integrative Nutrition

Absolutely, we recommend you are cleared for exercise with your healthcare provider. We do recommend starting with one on one sessions so we can work at your pace and tailor your program specifically for your body.

While Joseph Pilates drew his knowledge from a variety of disciplines, including yoga, gymnastics, martial arts to name a few, Pilates exercises are unique- they awaken your mind-body connection, as the movements are very specific. Each Pilates exercise is a whole body exercise (including your brain as my clients like to say). You will be able to move better, feel and have better command of your body, improve posture and flexibility, prevent injuries and much more.

We recommend starting with mat Pilates class. You can find a blog post about it here. If you are unsure- come for an introductory one on one session, which includes your friendly fitness assessment and allows you to try both mat and Reformer Pilates.
